Approval Queue Overview

As an AP Manager, your approval queue displays invoices awaiting your review. This guide helps you navigate and manage your queue efficiently.

The approval queue presents invoices in a table format with columns for:

  • Invoice number
  • Vendor name
  • Amount
  • Age (time since submission)
  • Current status

Checkboxes allow you to select multiple invoices for batch operations.

You can filter invoices by three dimensions:

Status filters include All invoices, Escalated (overdue), No PO matches, PO Matched, and High Value invoices.

Age filters let you view invoices from Today, This Week, Overdue, or a Custom date range.

Amount filters segment by Any Amount, Under 1,000, 1,000-10,000, or Over 10,000.

Four visual indicators help prioritize your review:

  • 🔴 Escalated: Overdue invoices requiring immediate attention
  • 🟡 Aging: Approaching SLA deadlines
  • 🔵 No PO: Requiring exception approval
  • 🟢 PO Matched: Standard approvals

The dashboard displays three key metrics: total Pending invoices, Escalated count, and your Average approval time.

You can approve invoices via mobile browser by swiping right to approve or left to reject. Tap an invoice to view full details.

Efficiency shortcuts include: j/k to navigate, a to approve, r to reject, Enter to open, and x to toggle selection.
